Various types of PEO appointments we may get from the Home Office, PEO are as given below:

Same Day Service PEO Appointment

Under the same day service PEO appointment, the application is submitted at the PEO appointment date and is decided by the Home Office, PEO the same day. This type of PEO appointment will be granted six weeks in advance unless the request is made for an appointment in lieu of cancellation.

24 Hours Service

The 24 hours PEO appointment is granted six weeks in advance unless a request is made for PEO appointment in lieu of cancellation. Under the 24 hours PEO appointment, the application is submitted to the Home Office, PEO at the date of appointment and the applicant also enrolls the biometrics the same day but the documents are collected very next working day. As such the application is usually decided within 24 hours. In very rare cases, the Home Office, PEO may take longer than 24 hours to decide the application.

PEO Appointment In Lieu Of Cancellation

This type of PEO appointment is requested where the application ready is ready to be submitted to the Home Office PEO at a short notice. The PEO appointment is granted only if there are any cancellations within the PEO and the appointment date can be any date in next six weeks. Also, the PEO appointment granted in lieu of cancellation can be either for same day consideration or for 24 hours consideration. If there will be no cancellation within the PEO in next six weeks, the PEO appointment request will be refused. The requests for PEO appointments in lieu of cancellations will be made every week Monday morning at 9:00 am by way of an email to the PEO, Home Office.

How And When To Contact Us For Your Same Day Visa Service?

If you need an appointment for Same Day Service (Premium Service) in a biometric category, you must instruct us for this as early as possible and not later than 6 weeks before the date for which PEO appointment is needed.

We will be submitting our next appointment requests on Monday, 13 May 2013 at 9:00 am for the PEO appointments to be granted for week commencing  Monday, 24 June 2013.

An earlier appointment may be granted if request is made for PEO appointment in lieu of cancellation within the Home Office, PEO.

If you have any dependents, you should also provide the above given details for each dependent. Please be advised that we also charge an additional fee of £100 + VAT for each dependent.

Unless you are an existing client of Sunrise Solicitors, we will require you to pay at least £150 as a deposit towards the total agreed fee for us to request an appointment for you. If for any reason, we could not get the PEO appointment for you, we will issue the full refund of £150 you would have paid as a deposit. If we do get the PEO appointment for you, the sum of £150 will be counted towards our total agreed fee for the case. We will not refund the sum of £150 in case you do not wish to use the PEO appointment  for any reason e.g. your application is not ready to proceed or you do not meet the requirements, etc. The refund will happen only if we could not get a PEO appointment for you.

What Work Is Included In The PEO Appointment Service?

We provide FULL service and do NOT provide assistance with getting PEO appointment only. Our service includes:

• getting PEO appointment for the agreed date;
• advising you about the relevant documents to be submitted in support of your application;
• checking your documents to make sure that you meet all the relevant requirements for a successful application;
• completing the application forms;
• preparing a covering letter in support of the application explaining how all the relevant requirements are being met for the application to succeed;
• accompanying you and your dependants to the Home Office, PEO on the date of PEO appointment
• assisting you and your dependents in submission of your application(s) to the PEO, Home Office to get decision on the application the same day or within 24 hours depending on the type of the PEO appointment granted by the PEO, Home Office;
• in case the application is retained for further enquires, liaising with the Home Office for a quick decision on the application and provide any further documentary evidence to the Home Office, if required.

Which Applications Can Be Submitted Through Our Same Day Visa Service?

The applications submitted through our same day visa service are decided by the Home Office very next working day after we submit the application. Please be advised that the Biometric Residence Permit (The Biometric Card) is sent to us by the Home Office by special delivery within a week or so. As all applications are biometric applications as of 29 February 2012, therefore the applicant and dependents will have to attend the Home Office, PEO, Lunar House, Croydon for Biometrics. The applicant and dependents can leave the Home Office building after they have enrolled their biometrics and our legal representative will be able to submit the application and complete rest of the process. Also, the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) will be sent by the Home Office to our office by special delivery within 7 working days of the decision on your application. As of 29 February 2012, leave to remain will always be endorsed on Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) and not on national passport of the applicant.

Please also be advised that if your application for leave to remain is not straightforward, the Home Office reserves the right to retain your application for further enquiries. More than 95% applications submitted through same day visa service are decided very next working day of the submission of the application. We will be able to advise you in detail whether or not your case is likely to be retained for further enquiries if submitted through same day visa service.

In appointments given by the Home Office, PEO for weekend consideration, the application is submitted by us during weekdays and the Home Office, PEO considers the application on Saturdays/Sundays. We collect the documents back from the Home Office on Mondays. As such, the decision is not made very next working day in weekend consideration cases.
