Duration of Tier 1 PSW Visa

Tier 1 PSW is granted by the Home Office, UKBA for two years. As a Tier 1 PSW migrant, you will have permission to do employment as well as self-employment in the UK. You cannot extend your Tier 1 PSW visa and will have to switch into some other category e.g. Tier 4 Student or Tier 2 General category.
